Q. Do you have actual kitchen displays or will I be looking at catalogues?
A. We have kitchen displays, as well as lots of door samples.
Q. Do you give free estimates?
A. Yes. We do reserve the right to hold all drawings we produce until the customer has signed a contract.
Q. Do I need to make an appointment to see a designer or can I just drop by?
A. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are the best way to take your project from dream stage to reality. By scheduling a Free Consultation, you will receive undivided time and attention with one of our experienced Showroom Consultants.
Q. How long should I plan on spending with a designer?
A. Depending on your project, consultation generally takes one hour.
Q. What should I bring with me when I meet with a designer?
A. The most important is your house plans. If you are remodeling and do not have them, you can bring in measurements of your space. Also, you may want to bring in magazine clippings or any ideas you may have and your sample finishes.
Q. Will a designer come to my house?
A. Yes. Once you have decided to purchase from us, a designer will confirm measurements and make the necessary adjustments.
Q. Do you have samples I can borrow?
A. We have a few samples of door styles and/or colors that you check out for up to one week.
Q. How much time should I expect for cabinets to come in and be installed?
A. Lead times vary from four to six weeks or more depending on manufacturer. Kitchens that require more custom work generally take longer. The sooner you pick out what you want the sooner it will be ready.
Q. How long does it take to get my countertops?
A. After the cabinets are set, they are either measured or a template is made for the countertops. Fabrication time is about two to three weeks depending on the type of material selected.
Q. How much will it cost?
A. This depends on the size of your kitchen and the countertops you select. We've done kitchens from $3,000 to $100,000.
Q. What does this price include?
A. Usually our prices include design and installation of cabinets, tops, knobs and crown. We do not install sinks, faucets or appliances.
Q. Is there any way I can get this cheaper?
A. We carry a variety of cabinets at several different price points. There are many options in ways to reduce the price of the cabinets. All jobs are priced in the same manner.
Q. At what point is it too late to make changes?
A. No changes after cabinetry is ordered.
Q. What are the payment terms?
A. If your contractor is one of our regular customers, you pay him the same way you pay for the rest of the house. If it is a one-time sale, 50% of the total sale price is due when we order the cabinets. The remaining 50% is due when the installation is complete.
